LeanIX: Girls Can Code
Jobs in tech-companies are often seen as a man's world. This prejudice is not just wrong, but also rather hindering to finding new talents and innovation. This is the top reason why LeanIX participated in Girls'Day!
This year, COVID-19 has made things quite tricky. We had to cancel our on-site event, but Corona won't get us down! We've tried to make a virtue of necessity and moved to an online-meeting. Four Role Models presented their job field and duties to about 40 young women.
Many thanks to our employees Sabine Prokop, Corinna Klein, Larissa Mauer, Laura Mauersberger & Michelle Niedernhuber for sharing so many insights. We think it is very important to acknowledge industry role-models, that show women in tech-job areas are no longer just a theoretical way to go.
This day was a full success for everyone, as Anna Müller, one of our participants stated: "I learned a lot of new things that day and found the four presentations very informative. I'd really recommend that to anyone." We are happy to take the opportunity to motivate more women to take on tech-jobs. Hopefully, we see some of the participants again! We are always delighted to welcome new curious talents to our team.
